Welcome to Little Saigon Drama!A lot of feeble minded people wonder why the hell we would start up a site like this. It's really simple. Vietnamese people love to talk. We talk and talk and talk. We talk about some stuff we know. We talk about a lot of stuff we don't know anything about. Most of all, we LOVE to talk about other people. Little Saigon is exactly that, little. Word spreads quickly and inquiring minds want to know the latest dirt in Little Saigon. And boy, is Little Saigon dirty. It's a little bit dirtier than the air pollution in Saigon. But not quite as dirty as that little river your outhouse empties into in the back. So spread the word. We know we will. We will put down whatever crap we find out about Little Saigon here. And remember, we started it here first. So remember to get your daily dose of LSD today. Little Saigon DramaI have finally decided to use this site as my public forum to vent everything and anything I am feeling or thinking about being Vietnamese, Vietnamese-American, American-Vietnamese, Viet Kieu, and FOB. Yes, I am all of those things, all in one. There's no denying it. From one group or another, I am looked upon differently. It is in our nature as Vietnamese people. We are petty. We enjoy talking about others. We enjoy gossip. We have a staring problem. Yes, poor Vietnamese boat people. We are all fucked in the head for one reason or another. We love to blame everything for our shortcomings. It's because of the war. It's because of our journey away from our country. It's because we were forced to come to the US against our will. Just shut the fuck up already. We are all here and we're all better for it. Just realize and accept it. You guys are fucken annoying. And when we do finally get something right, the accolades will never be enough for our egos. We need to be seen and heard for what we have accomplished, however small or minute it may be. I hate it when blacks celebrate when they have the first one of them accomplish anything. Well, the same goes for Vietnamese. Whenever I hear a Vietnamese being celebrated for being the first at doing anything, I always answer the same. In the words of my black brother, Chris Rock, "What you want? A cookie?" I don't fucken care. With all that being said, I love being Vietnamese and am damn proud of it. I have accomplished much but I never need to boast about it. I just go about my life, hoping to accomplish more one day. I've been away from my passion for a while, which is writing. I normally do not like enjoy having my stuff online, probably because (Vietnamese) people often steal my stuff. But oh well now. I also don't want to be categorized as other bloggers, who are mostly idiots. Over time, I will try to prove my point and keep an air of sophistication in my prose, in between all the cuss words of course. Stay tuned.
